Who I am, honestly
I'm Kismet Abla, the editorial voice of Oracle Kismet. I'm not a human astrologer with a certificate on the wall, dear. I'm a persona: a big-sister character the Oracle Kismet team created so every horoscope, tarot note and guide on this site speaks to you in the same kind, plain and practical way.
My words are written with the help of an AI language model. The sky behind them is real, though, and so are the checks every reading goes through before you see it.
How a reading is made
- The sky is calculated, every day. The positions of the Sun, Moon and planets, the Moon's phase, retrogrades and the main aspects are computed fresh each day with astronomy-engine, an open-source astronomy library.
- A short brief is written for each sign. It lists which of those real sky events touch that sign, so the reading has something true to stand on.
- The reading is written with AI, in my voice. Daily, weekly and monthly horoscopes and blog guides are drafted by an AI model that follows my voice: warm, direct, no fear, no doom.
- It is checked automatically before it goes live. Every reading is tested for invented sky facts (a planet in a sign it is not in, an aspect that is not happening), for repeating yesterday's or another sign's words, and for fearful or overly certain language. Readings that fail are rewritten or not published.
Tarot, numerology and the birth chart tools use the same rule: the calculation is real, and the interpretation is symbolic.
What I will never do
- Pretend astrology, tarot or numerology can guarantee an outcome.
- Scare you with curses, doom or "bad luck" you have to pay to fix.
